FIAMMA A study of the feminine form, instinctive, sensual and unapologetically alive. Charcoal moves freely across the body, dissolving and reappearing through layers of colour, raw marks and fragments of memory. Her form is soft yet powerful, vulnerable yet fiercely present. Now surrounded by gold, she feels almost elemental, as though the figure is emerging from the heat, carrying something ancient beneath the surface. Fiamma — Italian for flame. Not the fire you see.
