Self Portrait, 2019.

A brush representing the power of creation in one hand, while the artist wears her mother's kitchen apron—a symbol of domestic labor and roots... Painted in 2019 through a mirror reflection, this self-portrait stands on the fine line between states of womanhood, intergenerational transmission, and the artist's assertion of her own existence. It is a powerful celebration of the traditional and the artistic coexisting simultaneously within the same body.
