On My Balcony

"On my Balcony" is a large-format abstract painting presents luminous areas of sunny yellow and deep blackberry tones. Flowers in pots are only hinted at within the color fields and are deliberately rendered in a non-representational way. The composition evokes associations with warm weather, intense sunshine, and the relaxed atmosphere of a balcony in summer. Through its unconventional use of color and form, the work departs from familiar modes of depiction and develops a distinctive and exceptional visual presence. It is truly “out of the box”: special, surprising, and open to individual interpretation. The painting invites viewers to project their own memories of sunny moments outdoors into the image.
