Post-Alienation — The Memory Pattern

Gela Mikava's painting presents a striking, stylized figure with a bright yellow face and dark headdress, centrally positioned against a luminous white ground. The figure's form is rendered in broad, contrasting blocks of muted blue-green and deep purple, grounded by a dark, textured base. The upper left corner integrates patterned fabric, featuring delicate floral motifs and geometric designs. Dynamic, arcing lines in various hues radiate from the figure's torso, adding a vibrant, energetic dimension to the composition. A bold yellow stripe anchors the lower left, contrasting with a somber grey on the right.
