Joy Junkies

For me, painting is about translating my inner world onto the canvas. When I paint, I feel that my emotions, thoughts and state of mind naturally find their way into my work. Sometimes, I can express things through colours that I find difficult to put into words. That is why I try not to limit myself with strict rules or predetermined ideas. Instead, I follow my instincts and allow each piece to develop in its own way. I have developed my artistic practice independently, learning through experience, experimentation and a continuous desire to improve. I enjoy exploring new techniques, working with different materials and discovering how colours interact with one another. I primarily work with acrylic paint and mixed media. Colour, texture and layering are particularly important to me because I believe they bring not only visual depth to a painting, but also a certain feeling and atmosphere.
