The Violet Witness

A lone figure looks outward from a violet field as blue, green and pink marks gather around the body. Thin black lines divide the composition without fully containing the subject. In The Violet Witness, the quiet gaze contrasts with the restless movement of paint. The work invites the viewer to consider the figure as both observer and observed, leaving its identity and circumstances deliberately open.
