Behind the Abajour

Inspired by the wooden windows found in the artist’s grandmother’s house, and all over Lebanon, the window shutters serve as a reminder to simpler times. The vibrant colors decorate the white stone homes topped in terra cotta roofs. Moreover, the wooden windows represent an element of heritage and traditional architecture, which the artist aims to preserve through art.
