Residual Fragment V

In this small-scale work, torn fragments of a child’s drawing surface through layers of dark, saturated color. The image is no longer whole; it survives only as scattered remains embedded within the painting’s skin. What was once a coherent drawing is now broken into partial forms that drift between recognition and disappearance. Rather than presenting the original gesture, the work reveals its afterlife — the moment when expression persists only as a fragment within the surface that has absorbed it.
