The Matador in Pink – Large Modern Figurative

Against a flat hot-pink ground, a frontal figure is built in loose, painterly layers: a black head with minimal facial detail, a white shirt, dark tie, and a pale peach jacket that opens at the center. The lower half dissolves into a dense block of crimson paint that drips downward, leaving vertical streaks at the bottom edge. The mixed-media surface feels raw and layered, with visible brushwork and bleeding color.
