Emergence of Presence

Emergence of Presence captures the instant when an undefined inner state begins to become tangible. Curved forms, fragments and open contours gather around a central core, gradually creating the sensation of a presence emerging from within the composition. Turquoise, green, blue, yellow and orange shapes stand against a reflective gold-coloured surface. The contrast between painted form and luminous background gives the work both depth and openness. Some elements appear solid and architectural, while others remain fluid, incomplete and in motion. The imitation gold leaf responds to changing light, allowing the painting to shift subtly throughout the day. The work brings a sense of movement, warmth and visual sophistication to a contemporary interior.
